Your First Day In Form 6

It has been a long night yesterday. I couldn't close my eyes when I had the thought of you.
Today it is your first day of Form 6. I couldn't imagine how do you look like right now. White shirt and white trousers? It look all so mature however, the shoes sold your age off, it is the same white school shoe you always wear it around, making little noise when it is sliding across the floor followed by the hiss of annoyed librarian.

Do you still bring that blue bag to school? That key chain painted with various colours, a spectrum of rainbow hanging down from your pencil box is in your bag.
I can hear the voices of the whole class, with the high pitched voice from the chatting of the girls ( discussing the latest idol or band? ), the loud laughing from the guys behind having fun with jokes, the small whisper from that guy to his best friend over there. And of course, your deep low voice that is so easily differentiate and recognized compared to others from the crowd.

The bell just rang, it is recess time!
It look all the same just like the old times with the crowd rushing to the canteen.
Now you realized how different is it.
You looked behind and all around you. You couldn't find many familiar faces anymore.
You walked to the bread stall of the canteen and asked for your favourite snack of steamed chicken glutinous rice filled in a small metal cup.
Sit down with your new found friends and pay attention to the food you are holding in your hands.

Everything seemed so familiar and similar, but all left are memories and setting of the story.
Time and date are all the same, just the people aren't the same anymore.

迷茫

漂浮,不定的想法
空虚,心里的空洞

害怕,你要去哪里
恐惧,那一去不回

愧疚,我做的不好

I don't know what did I do.
Yet that's what I need to get suffer for.
After all this hard work...
And you are not satisfied enough, maybe that's my mistake, I shall not argue.

Some complains.

Destructive.

Wake up

The silent cry.
When you wake up in the night.
Only the sound of the rain beat on your window.

I just want to close my eyes.

Not to think.
What's future? What's going to happen?
No, I just don't know.
How far this journey is going.
How this should end.

I just want to open my eyes.

Not pretend I've lost.
How did it happened? Where those memories gone?
No, I just don't know.
How long will this feeling last?
How this should this end?

I don't want to lose.

You.

Oh Hoy! Postcrossing

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to share you guys a special hobby I'm picking up lately.

Tadaa! Postcrossing!

Actually it is mainly about sending postcard to other people you don't even know all over the whole world!

Through this process, you can get to know their culture, exchange views and enhance your global knowledge!

Interchange your interest and stories with people from another part of the world is so special! Think about how you can understand every place you longed to go and just by a mere RM0.50 (Malysia's international postcard stamp rate), your personalized postcard will fly long distance to the hands of another person and make one smile.

I am overjoyed when I first heard this, from my friend, Michelle. Michelle has exchange postcard with many people and think that I might enjoyed it as well so ask introduce me about it.

As easy as you can imagine, just like ABC! Hahaha.
First, register yourself at the website, write your address and request another one for the person you are going to send.
A Sample Postcard
Second, prepare your postcard and stamp.
Third, write everything you wanted with the code given and Wala! Slide it inside the postbox and wait for it to be registered as send.

Similarly, the person who requested your address will send another postcard to you too!

Try it if you are intersted too!
Happy postcrossing! =)

Live Life To The Fullest

I got this quote from a local production programme. =)

This year, will be a tough year for all my dear friends, same to me, Form 6. Ahhhh *faint*

After these past three months I realize something which matters very much to me, that is :

" Love yourself first. "

Everywhere I see people who don't love themselves, they wanted to love others, but they don't understand the fact that they should love themselves FIRST.

I know I'm the same kind of person, who don't really love my own self. Be kind to myself, perhaps that's what make me so impossible to sleep at night? Insonmia.

So, this year, I'm going to promise myself.

Magic voodo, ha! Just joking, some little declaration:
"Starting from today, I will love myself more and more.
Starting from today, I will be kind to myself.
Starting from today, I will keep promises to myself and don't break them. "

Stay calm and live life to the fullest! =D

A Decision To Make

BORED.

Is this the kind of life that I wanted, dreamed of and longing for so long before SPM?

Surely NOT.

Before that I was having lots and lots of promises to myself and yet still I'm wasting all the time given on non-beneficial programmes.

Okay, now I know that actually boredom can cause serious damage on me. I just couldn't stand it! The feeling of doing nothing at all feels awkward. How I wish I can just take a bucket of water and splash it all over me. (Wake up girl!)

Monologue:
It is March now, how much time do you still have?
A year? Half-year?

ONLY 3 MONTHS to go! (to Form 6) (Man, that's creepy :( )

After that you will NO TIME AT ALL.
You will get back in school and keep studying, so why wasting your time by doing nothing?
_________________________________________________________

Other than that, what troubles me the most is the decision of selecting subject to study in Form 6.
I always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian.
I love small animals such as dogs and cats; of course big animals too, like horses, elephants and giraffe.
However, I'm very aware of my family financial status and it will be a big burden to my parents if I persue my dream with private education sector.

There is a idiom in English saying, "If there is a will, there is a way."
It is still a possiblity of reaching my ambition through government education, that is through Form 6 and later to UPM ( Universiti Putra Malaysia ) veterinarian bachelor degree.

But, there is a hiccup, rumour saying I will need to get atleast 4 flats aka 4 As in STPM studies to get even considered to be selected!
(Please be aware that I am a non-bumiputera)

And, getting 4 flats in STPM is as hard as you can imagine. Throughout the history, normally about 3 to 4 students in my high school got 4 flats in STPM, but they are mostly Physic students!

Furthermore, there is NO ONE can promise your placing in that university even you got 4 flats!

Hearing to this, you can imagine how does it pull my face down to a :( .

So I was adviced to consider the Second option.
That is to be a Physic-student.

I know that I have a nor hate nor like relationship with my dear Physic here. And it should be give more advantages to me as the Engineering field is wider and not so specific compared to Biological sciences such as medicine, pharmacy, bio-medic,  dentistry and stuff.
As a plus, studying Physic requires more analytic and problem-solving skill compared to memorizing skill which is commonly used in studying Biology . I don't have a good memorizing skill.
__________________________________________________________

I didn't want to make a decision that I will regret my whole life.
Just to be sure, I made an appointment with my school counsellor, Pn. Lee.
She is a helpful and friendly teacher, she gave all her attention to me by listening my thoughts first before giving me some useful advices. After a short brief talk about my ambition, she decided to give me a personality test. (Holland Code Quiz)

The result came out to be very similar to what I've expected.
I got I, S and C.
Which stands for Investigative, Social and Coventional. However, I got high marks for other Holland Code too.
The conclusion Pn. Lee gave me is I am more to Biology rather than Physic. Oh-oh!

Hmmm... In the end, I will still need to make this decision myself. Perhaps I just need to have a little more time to explore and discover more about myself.

Hope for the best.

Hit the road

Yesterday (27/2/13) I just passed the second part of the driving test that is Bahagian 2 and 3.
It wasn't as smooth as I thought in Bahagian 3, actually quite freaking out during the whole test, but in the end a big relieve that I passed it. Well the sad part is I only got 16 which is the lowest passing mark for the test.
Phew~

Mmmm, the Bahagian 2 was smooth probably because I get to use the car what I've been train to use, that is Kancil. And I screwed up in Bahagian 3 for the sake of Viva. (luckily I don't have to drive Viva ANYMORE)

After times of getting scolded by my instructor, it is still worth it. I really don't want to fail you know, after so many practices and hard work. However, I'm still surprized how far I've grown after graduating.

The fact of in two months, I've learned how to drive a car! How amazingly I can actually DRIVE, I actually thave that immature thinking of in order to be a good driver, one shall be good in playing driving games. LOL

Other than that, to enrich and make full use of my time, I'm having lots of FUN learning German in Malaysian-German Society. ;)

Obviously, it is a new language to me. Sometimes I do get frustrated because of unable to speak the right accent and pronunciation. However it is always a laughter filling experience learning German together with all peoples from different backgrounds and occupation!

The course I'm taking now is the A1-a German Language Course and I'm attending the normal learning class ( note: not the intensive programme ) on Saturday morning. We have a book consisting Kursbuch+Arbeitsbuch (translation : coursebook + workbook).

This one! :D

Furthermore, to accelerate our learning speed, some of us also bought a german-english (and the other way round) dictionary.

There are more activities coming up in March including enjoying a german movie (with english subtitles) at the society .

That's all for now! Auf Widersehen ! :D
