*Announcement: Here we come to the year 2013.*

A-Brand-New-Year hah!


It is a new year for everyone and a turning point, especially to those graduates of Form 5 in the year earlier, 2012.
As a Form 5 lever, I do feel a bit sad as well as left out because most of my friends are heading different direction towards their further studies.

For example,
Wen yih, best friend of mine, is taking HSC this year (aka New South Wales High School Certificate). Very soon ( it's a one-year duration programme actually) , she will pursuing her studies in Australia ( reminds me of her meeting her future good looking husband,"En Tao Bah" in Hokkien! Ha ha!)

Next up, Hui Jie, another best friend of mine ( Duplication of me....? She really have the same thoughts as mine most of the times you know ;S).
She's going ( might as well saying she IS THERE NOW ) to Kampar for Foundation in Chinese Programme in UTAR ( Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman which is named after the first prime minister of  Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj ).
 

And many more classmates entering colleges to pursue their A-levels, Hsc, Foundation or maybe staying in Form 6 and matriculation soon!

Some of us who are waiting for the result before making decision for our further studies are holding part time or full time job in several malls and stores.

To list a few:
1. Starbucks coffee shop

This is the most greatly recommended place to get your part time job!
First, you get a pamphlet from the shop and fill in the details.
Then, give a phone call to any Starbucks shop outlets to arrange an interview with the manager.
Lastly, if you are lucky, you can go for your job as a barista in Starbucks in no-time!

P/s: You can get promotions, discounts or free drinks on the selected beverages there! It must be an indulgence and enjoyment for coffee-lovers!!!



2. Shops and store in Queensbay Mall & Gurney Plaza

It is definitely the biggest and the most popular shopping spree venue in Penang!
In the other words, the place with full of opportunities for people looking for a part time/full time job.

3. All Seasons Place

This is quite a economical part time/ full time job destination for those living in Farlim, Penang ( Air Itam area) in petrol sense.
"All Seasons Place" has some restaurants, supermarket or small kiosk stalls, though it is outnumbered by Queensbay Mall's & Gurney Plaza's shop outlets, it is still expanding as more shops are introduced and opening soon.
The outlets included Sushi King, Who's Bryan, James Foo & Family Western Food Restaurant, Chatime, Giant, Subway, Papa Rich, Roti Bakar and Fa Guo San.

 

4. Tuition Centres ( like Bestari Skor, Forest, etc)
Ex-students and graduates with high achievement in result can help students excel in their academic studies as a tutor or assistant tutor in those tuition centres. Furthermore, it's environment is more suitable and pleasant compare those jobs under hot sun as many are "equipped" and installed with air conditioner.
